Hello Everyone!

We are now accepting works of young Russian-speaking Jewish directors and animators for the second annual KinoFERMA Film Festival that will take place in October 2009 in New York City.

In order to be considered for the participation, please send the copy of your work in the DVD format, short synopsis, and filmmaker's biography and a portrait photo by September 1, 2009 to the following address:

KinoFERMA is going International!

On the last day of April, Thursday the 30th, as a part of kofflerkultura series, KinoFERMA will premier in Toronto. The event is presented by Kofferl Centre of the Arts and I'm a Jew.Ru

Here's what they say:
It’s a kino-craze and a film frenzy with the Canadian premiere of short films by young Russian Jewish filmmakers living in North America, and a Russian perspective on life in Israel. An Israel Independence Day party with twist… unraveling the links between Israel and the Diaspora through the lens of the camera.
