Dmitriy Khavin Bio:

Dmitriy Khavin began his film career as a grip at the famous Odessa Film Studios in Odessa, Ukraine. Since 1992 he has lived in the US, where he works as a director, editor and camera operator on documentaries and television programs. Recently, Dmitriy has worked on 4 Primetime Emmy winner HBO’s Baghdad ER, HBO’s Alive Day Memories and PBS’s Turkey’s Tigers programs. Dmitriy also works with human rights groups in US, Russia and Ukraine on using video to fight against human rights abuses.
